BALTASAR LOBO
Next May we will go to England to spend some days with the children in our partner school Turners Hill which is in West Sussex. We are working on a project that we will present to the children from turners Hill. They will present one on a local artist from their town. One of the activities we have done is here. We drew some of Baltasar Lobo's sculptures but we gave them a different background. It truned out really well! HAVE A LOOK!
The sculpture in the drawing is called Jeune Fille se coiffant (Chica peinándose). The background is a green sofa in a living room because the statue looks relaxed and when I lay in my sofa I am relaxed so I thought it would be a good idea. I copied the sofa from the one I have at home. I tried to make it look realistic and I did my best. I am happy with what it turned out. Zoe Year 6.
The sculpture is called Homenaje a León Felipe. In the background there is a dragon destroying a castle and some towers. The dragon wanted to extend his kingdom so he begun by kidnapping a princess who was out in the balcony of her tower. Here the dragon is setting fire to the castle to make his kingdom bigger. The scupture is in the centre of the drawing. On the right is the castle with two towers. We can see the dragon flying over the towers.

Carmen. Year 6. |
The sculpture in the drawing is called “Madre y Niño” . The background is a landscape in the countryside because I go to Art lessons and some days ago I drew a similar one there but it was a park, so that is the reason for me to draw this.
