Tuesday

         Today we went to a place called Sanabria. Everyone got a coach there. It took 2 hours! When we arrived there, the Spanish children gave us our lunch. I got (from my pen pal) a bottle of coke, 4 sandwiches an apple, a banana and some really nice chocolate bar thing! Jack had an omelette sandwich. The walk was through a massive, beautiful forest and there were loads of streams cutting across out path. As well as that it was steep in places and there were lots of rocks. The walk took about 3 hours, at the end we stopped at an ex-glacier and ‘paddled!’ some of the Spanish children got their trousers soaking! Before that, we had lunch on some stone benches. When we finished, we played on some rocks and went to a shop to buy ice-creams and souvenirs. On the way back we stopped at this castle and....guess what. More walking! We walked around the village and the shops. Then we dropped the Spanish children back at their school and went to McDonalds.
